Inspire Channels

The final international conference “Well-being and Mental Health in the Context of Art and Culture” was the apex of the whole INSPIRE project, with all the three INSPIRE partners working closely together to secure the venue, select the speakers, and make all other necessary arrangements. Taking place at the traditional venue of the Mezi ploty festival in Bohnice, it featured prominent speakers from Czechia, Poland, Spain and Croatia.

The first session laid particular emphasis on well-being and good mental health and how it can be fostered through art therapy, everyday choices, and even the organization of large public events. It included presentations by art therapist Jitka Tůmová of the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital, Montessori teacher and therapist Marysia Szydłowska, dance and movement therapist Anděla Kubátová and Iris Mauricio, communication manager of the mental health innovation network Xarxa TECSAM.
