The Mezi ploty festival is back – and this time in the format that visitors were used to in pre-covid times – on 24th and 25th May, ten stages on the grounds of the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital will host more than 100 famous musicians and theatre artists, including Richard Müller, Petr Janda with Olympic, Aneta Langerová, Xindl X, Vilma Cibulková, Simona Babčáková, Visací zámek, Cirk La Putyka, Lenny, Michal Hrůza, Marta Jandová, Vanua2, MYDY, Michal Horák, Kašpárek v rohlíku, Rozálie, Skyline, Adéla Elbel and many others.
Several interesting events will take place at the festival as part of the INSPIRE project, supported by the Creative Europe programme, such as a cheerful Bohnice Parade in support of mental health with a competition for the best mask for children, a debate on Psychedelics or Drugs, in which true experts will discuss this topical issue, and a workshop in which you will be able to experience the therapeutic power of virtual reality.
Thanks to our partner festival Altre, this year’s Mezi ploty will feature the unique Spanish ensemble Teatro de Pacotilla, a diverse group where everyone works together – inspired by mental health, the world and their own stories. Polish partner Varsztatovnia brings the exhibition Voices of the Unheard with great works by people who are on the margins of society…
And it wouldn’t be Mezi ploty if it didn’t think about your mental health and well-being – you’ll be able to engage in debates with mental health experts about burnout, mental resilience or children’s mental health, listen to meditative music and even personally try hypnosis.
We look forward to seeing you!
